Gucci for Fall 2020

 I love how Gucci uses fashion to reflect today's times. It is as though there are no boundaries of men and women. Rich or poor. Stylish and zero styling. I think the designer for Gucci has truly reflect today's concept of time and style. This fashion season has caused a lot of commotion amongst my FB friends. 

 I love it when fashion makes a daring statement and challenge the acceptance of what is right or seemingly wrong... who is to say? I personally love, understand and appreciate Gucci's intentions and it inspired me in a new way of looking at fashion closer.

The Unflattering Loop

As I shopped and bought so many leggings for my work out, I wish the designers would STOP designing the FRONT seam in between our abdomen area. The back is ok to have a seam as it defines our buttocks. This is sooooooooooo unattractive as it emphasised the shape of our female genitals. We really do not want that when we work out. That is a unflattering mistake! Can't anyone see that?

We Love Our Handbags

Men: Know Thy Women. Get your woman the bag she wants not what you thinks she needs! Every woman loves their bags, though some may not admit it. Handbags are a must in a woman's life and it depends on how much things they put in, makes it personal to her. No woman can have only one handbag. It needs to go with the style and color of clothes she wears of course.

What makes a great handbag are the proportions to the size and the height of the woman, it's functionality, it's styling and color, and of course the workmanship of quality; like real leather hangbags. Other faux leathers, especially for handbags will flak off after a year of usage and it looks terrible. Never buy a PVC leather bag. Invest in a good leather bag! It's is all about quality and quality.

Remember, fashion last only so long but style lasts a life time.

This handbag by Lancel, a french design... is different and pretty cute, one that is on the casual side and you can use this for work and play. You can put your ipad and all our girly things in it. It looks great over the shoulders and we can walk down the street in style.

The Bugatti - My Dream Car

What kind of car has 1,200 horsepower? Wow... this is what I call a designers car. The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse.

Comfort with Style

Style is ageless. Fashion is in the now. Trend last for only a season. I came across these gorgeous distress metallic flats and fell in love with it.... these are from La Garconne. They are killer aren't they? Style is about the lines and what really goes with each other. It is about the kind of material, the color combination, the quality and the cut of the outfit.

Flats look great with long, flowing pants or pencil ones. It also goes well with long skirts or skirt at mid calf's. These particular style of shoe will go well with the modern style of dressing.

Dressing should be comfortable in the work environment and anyone can wear these styles and look modern, comfortable and smart. Note the cropped sweater at the waist and wide legged pants to the ankles. We do not have to look sloppy to be comfortable.

This casual look is simple and classic. You can find this boat neck sweater almost anywhere at any store and to achieve this look. It is the color and style that does it. More importantly,  it is the shoes that make it dynamite and super comfy. Check out the pink pants, it mid waisted, ankle cropped and the material is cotton twill, combined it with any of these shoe style and you got a dynamite look.

Olive and black are neutral colors and they go well with metallic. If you don't know what to wear or buy for your wardrobe, try collecting different styles that go with your body type and keep your colors neutral like these examples and built on your colors.

You can never go wrong with black and white. To make the look more interesting and unique, keep the lines clean and watch out for the sewing. Impeccable sewing does make a difference to clean lines. With a maxi skirt, finish it off with a metallic pair of silver slip-on. You do not need any jewelry to go with this look. If you really want to, then keep the jewelry simple and austere.

I see lots of Chinese in China wearing awful color combinations and socks... OK to make that kind of look work, try it with all back. This look is simple, very comfortable and stylish. It hides everything.

Summer is nothing without a sundress. There is something about black that is flexible in different ways. Dress this without a white T, add chunky pearls to your neckline, slip on those black slinky heels and you got a smashing evening wear that you could go dancing or an event. Dress it down with just a pair of my favourite silver metallic slip-ons and you get a chic look that makes for comfy shopping during the weekend.

This boxy look is great with flats like these below. Chunky comfortable sandles make all the difference. Remember the simpler the style, the more you want the quality to show. Other designers that believe in these look are Elieen Fisher and La Garconne. Or shop around and choose the simple styles that follow these styles.

For some reason, Chrome Yellow is so in for this winter.  Check out my favourite Gucci bag, you could fit your Mac and all electronic devices in it with chic... how to wear with this Chrome yellow this season is to wear it with black, grey, white. Macho and Lace

To my women friends, there is a time when everything is just a simple T and jeans. I think every now and then it is ok to be totally feminine and enjoy the beauty of lace and frills. Here we are trying so hard to compete in the man's world, we forget who we are as women and we even are afraid to look feminine and enjoy L- A- C- E or some frills. Wear it the correct way, you can look dynamite. Combine lace and leather and you get a look that is sexy or classic.

Love Summer and enjoying the last bits. Getting ready for fall and we are going to have fun with black. Black, the absence of all colors and the pillar of all. If you can't think of anything to wear, throw on a black piece of clothing, all black, with a neutral or a color and you will look dynamite. It hides, it shapes and it stands out. Black is the foundation of all colors as white is the opposite. Have fun and experiment with it.

 

The subtlety of black comes with different textures like black leather with lace, or black with satin, or black denim with silk or leather.
